Member Spotlight: Monica Canales, Managing Director at Tascot Global
Renewing my membership with NBDA for the third year in a row was an easy decision. As a small business owner I must be discerning where I invest my networking time and money, and the value I have drawn from attending NBDA events has been immeasurable-which I largely attribute to the caliber of members that NBDA attracts. A few months ago, for example, through my connections at NBDA I was introduced to an individual whom I recruited to become a resource at one of my clients’. She has done an outstanding job since day one, and my client could not be any happier!
Besides the high quality workshops over lunch, the happy hours and other special events, NBDA hosts unique opportunities exclusively for members where we get to know each other and our businesses more intimately, and connect with decision-makers: like the CEO Forum and the Lead Generation Groups. This year my business partner has also joined NBDA as a member. We are currently in talks to add our change management services to the business model of one of our NBDA connections, which will generate a new source of revenue for our company.
