Member Spotlight: Mark Sweet, President at The Branding Suite

Mark Sweet is the President of The Branding Suite powered by Proforma, a role he's held since May of 2015. The company is a marketing agency specializing in promotional products, print, distributorship focused on helping companies grow their promotional, print, and digital media programs to help with employee acquisition, retention, and development.

"I joined NBDA upon its inception and have been involved since. The organization brings value to me in the form of mindshare, networking, the speakers, access to ask questions and share ideas workshops, and to meet and get to know like-minded business development professionals that I otherwise wouldn't meet in my normal day-to-day."

Mark is also starting a new NBDA board position as the Director of Member Retention.

Sponsor Spotlight: BCH

Brady, Chapman, Holland & Associates, Inc. is an insurance and risk management firm focused on helping businesses control their risks.

We spoke with Tim Brady at BCH to ask him a few question:

Let's start with a topic on everyone's mind-growing business. What are you doing differently in 2018 to maintain marketshare?
We are investing in additional risk management tools to assist our clients. We are also expanding our sales and service teams to meet our growth goals.

What's your take on today's economic climate? How is this helping business?
With the current leadership in DC, the business climate continues to improve which is helping us and most of our clients. While we have grown every year since inception in 1983, we see even more growth in 2018.

What benefit have you seen from your involvement with NBDA?
The NBDA board (especially Christine) keeps us grounded. We've seen that by helping people first, the rest will follow. And we appreciate the networking opportunities.

Finally, give us three reasons for why someone would choose BCH?
  • We implement a proprietary risk management program to reduce our client's cost to managing these risks.
  • We offer a consultative approach focused on assessing company risks and providing a plan to assist our clients.
  • We advise our clients as if their business was our own.
